Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations, where students step into the roles of diplomats representing different countries. Delegates engage in debates, draft resolutions, and collaborate to solve global issues. Through structured discussions, MUN participants develop public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills while gaining a deeper understanding of international relations.

Participating in MUN offers numerous academic advantages. It improves research skills, as delegates must thoroughly investigate their assigned country’s policies and global issues. Public speaking and debate skills are honed through discussions, making students more confident and articulate. Writing skills are enhanced by drafting position papers and resolutions. Additionally, MUN fosters teamwork and problem-solving abilities, essential skills for any academic and professional career. Universities value MUN experience as it demonstrates leadership, global awareness, and intellectual curiosity.

There is an upcoming prestigious conference- TEVMUN 2025. It is organised by students from Towarzystwo Edukacyjne Vizja High School students – with the help from experienced peers coming from 2SLO, TBS and Copernicus High School. Our Secretary General – Aleksandra Cabaj, is a thriving student, majoring in economics, which helps her manage the team and keep an eye on all the operations. Camille Dubno and Dominika Muszyńska are both very experienced debaters, who will serve as Presidents of the General Assembly. Another well-known figures in the MUN community are Nikodem Mielniczuk and Barbara Pokorska, who are the big brother and sister of the conference, however formally referred to as Directors General. Our team also consists of newcomers to the MUN world – Blanka Sikora, Malvina & Milana Gasanova, Karol Majkowski and Martyna Pichur – they are the people responsible for HR, finances, Public Relations and our social media platforms. We believe that this conference will allow them to excel in their careers.

Under the patronage of Warsaw’s youth council, President of the capital city – Rafał Trzaskowski, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event ensures a high level of professionalism, attracting delegates from various institutions. This year, TEVMUN is about to host 160 delegates across 9 committees. Each of them is designed to provide a unique and enriching experience, whether tackling international security in the Security Council, ensuring human dignity in the Human Rights Council or fighting crime in the International Criminal Court.

TEVMUN stands out as one of the best MUN conferences for several reasons. The conference is hosted in Vizja Park – a modern and spacious venue that fosters an excellent debate environment. Delegates can enjoy delicious meals and refreshments at or amazing canteen, ensuring they stay energized throughout the sessions. The location of TEVMUN is easily accessible, making it convenient for participants. Each committee room is equipped with comfortable chairs, top-notch projectors and internet access, providing a smooth and professional experience.

Last year, TEVMUN received outstanding feedback from delegates and schools, with a MyMUN rating of 4/5. All participants have mentioned their experience as a fantastic memory, which they would like to repeat. Taking into consideration that it was our first edition, we are looking forward to making the next one a bigger success – especially with the amazing team and resources we have Attending TEVMUN is an opportunity to engage in high-quality debates, make new connections, and enhance your diplomatic skills in an inspiring environment.
